Royal jelly is secreted by worker bees and serves as the first food for larvae during their initial three days after hatching. Queen bees lay eggs in the hive cells, and once they hatch, they become larvae.

To create a new queen, bees continuously feed a selected larva with royal jelly for twelve days, allowing it to develop into a queen bee. The queen grows larger, with an elongated abdomen, and is capable of laying millions of eggs. The highest concentration of royal jelly is found within the hive’s cells, where it is collected for various uses. Unlike other bee products, royal jelly is not gathered from plants but rather produced exclusively by the bees themselves.

The royal jelly we offer is sourced from outside the European Union, as local weather conditions do not favor large-scale production in this region.

Some people consider the royal jelly as a superfood from nature. It is used in a lot of therapeutic treatments. It is an excellent revitalizer because it helps us to resist cold weather and fatigue, slows down skin ageing and improves skin hydration and elasticity. It also works to improve our immune system and our body’s defences, it regulates the nervous system and it helps combat anxiety.

Royal jelly is viscous, like yogurt. It has a yellowish colour and a sour taste. The best way to eat royal jelly is in the fresh and natural form without any handling and it has to be kept cold. Avoid eating freeze-dried royal jelly because this type of preservation decreases its health benefits. It is recommended to eat a dose between 500-1000 mg a day for adults, and a half dose for children. Our jars of royal jelly have a little spoon prepared with this dosage.

Is not recommended to consume royal jelly during long periods of time and not in large quantities. You should not eat it for more than 60 consecutive days. If you want to eat royal jelly regularly, it is advisable to stop for at least one month between consumption periods.
